L.O.S.T. (Living On Stagnant Time) explores winter in the northern region of New Mexico, an area with a large number of abandoned and crumbling structures. In the face of economic oppression, many find it more financially sound to leave their homes rather than renovating or rebuilding, building a new life elsewhere while leaving pieces of their previous one behind. This results in ghost towns going back as far as the Gold Rush, old towns like Dawson and Elizabethtown worn into hollow ghosts, and the same is true for modern cities, areas such as Mora left like dead limbs reaching toward life only to further rot with each year. The photographed remains have phantoms inside of them, things that have silent stories that arrest the viewer but are unable to convey their history.
